Hello all,
Powder Horn #59 is for sale. It's a handsome, medium-size horn, measuring 11" from the spout tip to the Honduran Mahogany base plug, which measures 2.25" wide and 2.5" high,
The spout is octagon with a double-banded throat ring. Below it the spout is round, giving it some nice contrasting shapes.
There are a variety of engraved patterns on the horn; the "quilt" pattern in the central body was something that just came into my eye as I was looking at the horn trying to think of what would go there. (I love it when that happens). I think it works well.
The Latin inscription on the horn, "Quam Bene Non Quantum" translates to "How Well, Not How Much".
I am asking $375 for the artful Powder Horn, shipping and insurance to the lower 48 is included. (Please note , I don't use electronic fund transfers any longer)
Thanks for looking!
~Bob

Bob, you've got to stop doing this to us. Another beautiful horn? You are turning them out like sausages!
Love the quilt pattern, fantastic as always.
