I tried attaching my horn to my pouch once. I didn't care for it. Maybe I should have made the attaching straps longer, but it made filling a powder measure an awkward chore.

Same here, took it off for the same reason. Lengthening the strap on mine is on the to-do list.

Where do folks today put there wallet? Personally my left front pocket. (I'm right handed). I see people with wallet in right front and both rear pockets based on what suits the individual. I would smirk at our desendants being troubled at which is historically correct.

People are people and each has their own preference. Don't think much changed in that aspect over thousands of years.

I shoot left handed and carry my bag and horn on left side. Horn is on a separate strap. I carry powder measures and pick and brush from the horn strap.

when I retired I got rid of my watch, and can't remember where I put my wallet. Heck... ain't got any money anyway hehe

I've really come to like my horn attached directly to my bag. Just seems to ride nicer when I'm out in the woods.

I have mine on the pouch strap as well; I use open top pouches and set the horn so that it crosses the pouch at the top 1/3rd point and the horn’s weight helps keeps the pouch closed. I find it’s a very silent set up for hunting, and easy to access the pouch contents for a reload.

As some one said depends on "...and the size of your hand." A little larger bag serves these XXL ARTHRITIC paws better.

That would go in your Haversack/Possibles bag, (normally carried opposite your shooting bag).
