Hi guys, Me and my father where flintlock hunting this past weekend and ran into a guy who had a real nice deer antler priming horn. My dad and me really liked it and it got me thinking instead of buying him one for his birthday that I would make him one.

I have tons of horns laying around the house and really am a tinkerbug. Is there any direction anyone could point me in to learn how to make one or a video or really any help would be appreciated.

This would also be of great service to my wife as it would keep me out of her hair after hunting season ends and in the shop. :yakyak:

Here ( Ihope ) is a pictue of one I made for my nephew.

It is simple to make. First shoot a nice buck, second cut off antler section with small point left on. Third drill small point for a priming valve. Fourth hollow out resivor for priming powder. Make sure priming valve hole reaches resivor Thread resivor end for a brass plug. Simple isn't it !
