Well I tried to “primitive” my little elk pouch with some deerskin. It’s rough indeed but sort of got the effect I wanted. Don’t know if it’s mountain man but this mountain man will wear it.

I like it!!!
Went on a little after supper trek around the property. Trial run. Fringe was swinging away just like it’s supposed to. and the bag looked old and homemade like I wanted.
