This blade been sitting,on the back shelf. I could not find a handle that would look good.i found this laying around,old hacksaw blade,for the guard,mesquite then antle to finish it off the blade if a file and sharp

Looks like a blade that you would see in an eastern frontiersmans kit to me. and judging by the pits in the blade it might well have been!
