Pyrodex P

Someone gave me a pound of pyrodex P. Can I use this in my .50cal Renegade? Do I need to reduce the charge?

I would reduce the load by 10% to start. I use P a lot now and like it a lot it is good stuff. Ron

It's dandy in 50 cal with both PRBs and conicals. I'm putting 80 grains behind PRB for great accuracy and fine performance on deer. A hunting bud runs the same under his maxis. Surprisingly, it's less fouling than anything else I've tried in 32 cal.
