Yes I would use the same size ball your handgun likes. The paper on the sides of the bullet will be shaved off anyway as the bullet is seated. I do not glue the paper to my bullet. I twist the top on the overall cartridge. Lick my fingers and twist again packing the cartridge down tight and firm. Has worked so far they way I like.
