Question on small chain connectors?

Hello! I apologize if this is a stupid question (which I am known for), I was curious to these small bits of chain connectors I have for my flintlock accessories. I am not sure what they are called and where to purchase them.

Touch hole picks, you could hammer or file them out of a nail if you wanted to, no big deal.

The OP is looking for the chain, not the tools. I've bought the set below and then a few custom sets from a Seller on the American Longrifles Forum, but I have no link. Some 'oldtime' hardware stores might have what was called 'jack chain' for holding the counter-weights in the old dbl-hung sash windows; where some of it - if small - can be blackened or tarnished and work for all but the "thread counters".

Think he’s talking about the things that connect the tools to a lanyard. A simple solution would be large fishing swivels. I've never seen those for sale by any ml vendor. Probably can be easily hand made.

Ranger94, if I understand your question, you are looking for info on the chain used for attaching your accessories. There is a two page thread on these small chains and where to buy them locally from 2020 on this forum. At the top of the page tap the magnifying glass icon to bring up the search bar. Type in

If it were me, I'd drill a plate with holes and insert bar or bolts the size of the loops and weld on the backside (15min). Hold it in a vise. Then just get the right size wire and bend around in a figure "8". Trim, hammer, dress etc. You could make them 'till the cows come home.

I did miss the point, as for the chain, I believe I could make some with a bit of wire and some needle nose pliers, it would definitely look primitive.

The link to the thread ppg1949 mentioned in post #6 is below, it will tell you about all you need to know. Chain is easy to make from brass or steel rod. I have a pair of round jaw needle nose pliers which are ideal for forming the loops. Of course pre made pick & whisk sets are an alternative. I have found most jewelry parts (findings) lacking the strength to be of use. BTW, recommend Avalon Forge, see post #4.
