I had a pleasant surprise at my doorstep when I got home from work today. It was my new Kibler SMR in .45 finished and sold to me by olskool here in the forum. Here is the classified that I bought this from (more details and pictures of the gun there).
Having never handled a muzzle loader like this in my life, I was very surprised by how thin, svelte, and light this gun is. It's truly a work of art. I especially love the toe plate olskool made from a band saw.
My plan is to try and take a deer with it in January. I will definitely let yall know when and if that happens.
Thanks again to olskool for selling me this beautiful gun. I couldn't have asked for a better flinter to start with.
Here are pictures from the classified thread I bought this from since I don't think I would be able to take better pictures than olskool until I have time to take it into the sun.
Lastly, here is a picture of some fat ***** holding the gun. Oh wait, that's me...
