On their u-tube videos they state all their maple and walnut comes from the US.
 
I've seen literally 100's of European adult air rifles over the years. The vast majority of these had been stocked in European beech. European beech is also a common stock wood for Euro. military surplus arms. The stock in question looks exactly like and has the same exact characteristics of Euro beech. This species is very common over there and a very common and popular wood for gunstocks of ALL kinds. Also this would NOT be the first time a firearm factory has fibbed on the build specs! If it was my Pedersoli, I would not worry about as like I said before it is a very strong and stable wood for gunstocks.
