PVC pipe to surround brush, super glue to inside of pipe, compressed air. I'm at wits end. The problem is the patch bunches up preventing me going further. I would shoot it out, but I can't put the touch hole back on because of the powder.

Figure it out yet.

Ok I'll tell ya.
He removed the touch hole liner, added to much powder. then tried to reinstall the liner compressing the powder in the hole which doesn't compress well, and he couldn't get the liner back in.

Well, lesson learned. To my defense, this is my 2nd rifle in a year. I only have 1 year black powder shooting under my belt. I did not have anyone to show me the how and the what. Everything I've learned has been through tial, error, and online research.

You live in Tennessee. That is one of the most heavily ml populated states in the country. I'll betcha you have neighbors who are experienced ml'ers. A call to NMLRA for the state Field Rep could have put you in touch with a shooter and/or a club.

There wasn't? I was at the range making one last swab before I went home. The only time there was powder in it was (read) was when I was trying to shoot it out and there was too much patch juice. It rendered the powder inert. This was AFTER I was able to push the brush up a tiny bit for powder to go in the breech area.
I'm sorry if some of you guys are having a hard time understanding what happened. But I feel I made it very clear as to what happened, explained what my steps were, and provided pictures of the (read) now removed brush.
As for there being mlers around, the answer to that would be a resounding no. However, I did get in touch with someone named Donald Davidson. Perhaps some of you know of him? Went to his house and learned quite a bit. I hope to go shooting with him when I'm not so busy.
