Are they made and if so, where could I find one? I tried a Creedmoor from TOTW but it’s to big. I’m returning it but 5/16” is the smallest they have. The brass collar doesn’t fit in the bore. Any suggestions?

Thanks Eric. I checked their site. They don’t have any pictures or much info like thread size.
I measured the ramrod on my 32 Pedersoli Kentucky. I called October country and they made an exact same size one in brass for my rifle threaded on both ends. When shooting I put a jag on one end and a T-handle on the other. Works perfect but it’s a bit heavy. Was about $30. I don’t think you can get a rod smaller to use a bore guide. A brass rod should be pretty safe on the muzzle.

That’s good info. Thank you!!

A 5/16" diameter rod would measure 0.3125" in diameter.
That's .0075 smaller than the bore in a .32 caliber gun so, although it will not be a loose fit, it should slide easily down into the guns bore.

I made one from a piece of 1/4 in diameter rod. Drilled and tapped for 8-32 thread. Added a wooden handle and muzzle protector.

I went the the Menards lumber yard and bought a 36 inch piece of 1/4 aluminum , wanted 5/16 had to settle for the
1/4 inch. It is now setting on the drill press ready for drilling and threading. Hope I'll be able to thread it 10/32
don't if it will be big enough for the threads. If it works ok if it don't I'll put it with my other supplies , I'll find a use
for it .

I think my Rice rod was around $15, I needed an extra long one for my Kibler SMR with a 46" barrel.

Jason had them at a longrifle show I went to, I balked on buying one for $15 and later ordered one, the shipping was almost as much as the rod cost, it was very well packed in a carpet tube.

Here is the ball end and tip with muzzle protector. My rod is 48" long.
