Before the 2014 house fire, the UMs outnumbered the BPGs 4 to 1 (i collected original Japanese, American, English, German, Swiss, & Russian UMs from The Boer War, WW1 & WW2)
Now it's about 50/50.....

I don’t disagree with you on the unmentionable term, I’m just following the crowd. I am too new here not to do so.
It's easy - centrefire, rimfire, 30-06. Etc.

It's not the ALR forum, your post saying "I turned my 3030 gun ammo pouch into a muzzleloading pouch" won't have the words 30-30 edited out followed by a polite pm warning from mods.

Just don't go off on a tangent discussing more modern guns and you'll be fine.

I have 4 UM to one ML
My wife has 2 UM to 1 ML
Son 1 ML
Son in law 1 to 1

My Dad had a friend who used to show up every year to dove hunt on the ranch. You could ask him after he fired his first shot or after 200 shots, "How many birds you got?" and his answer was the same, ALWAYS : "One short of a limit."

I am the same in all categories of guns, ammo, and accessories...I am one short of a limit.

Modern to black powder my ownership ratio is about 2:1
USE of modern to black powder for recreational shooting and hunting..., modern to muzzleloader would be a ratio of 1:3
Hunting alone, my ration of modern to black powder for the last 25 years would be 0:3

As I live in UK, where things are a mite different, I'm not not claiming any numbers, except to admit to some of each.
