Here are the pics I promised. Same box of .454 Hornadys, Same 25gn FFF Jack's Powder, same backstop, same distance, same paper targets. Every '51 ball is like the pics, every '60 ball is like the pics. Add'l, the '60 deformation is always on the back of the ball, judging from the LL ring.

Explanations? :idunno:
