So it appears I am getting a bit deepr into the revolver world. I just bought, from a member, a NIB .36 revolver (3rd one, all bought right here) and started wondering about having my Bobcat .36 bored out to shoot the .375 balls the revolvers use. Good idea? Any real time experience?

A re-bore would certainly work out. I had a .40 barrel bored out and rifled for a .45 ball by Bob Hoyt. To say the job was good is the understatement of the year. He did a fantastic job of radius rifling, the best I've yet seen. Cost more than the mold would but not at all "costly" by any stretch.

The Bobcat referred to by the OP I believe is a CVA BP rifle. Mr. Hoyt will not re-bore a CVA or Traditions barrels because of the type of breech plug they use.
