Just thumbing through new issue of "Hunt Club Digest" and noticed on pg. 92 a Recall Notice on recently produced drop-in barrels. Applies to flint and percussion barrels with a serial number range of 26220 to 27303. Contact them at 603-447-1095 x 10 or e-mail [email protected].

My .58cal Flint barrel fell into that range, had to ship it back last year...they said they had changed to a different drilling / tapping process & tool set for threaded vent and nipple seats...threads were not as high as they shold have been, worried about blow-out, etc.
They installed a new Flint plug on my .58cal, reblued the whole thing, etc.
