Wow, you know the future and what I will say? You really are amazing.
NO WHERE in the post does it say I know what you will say. What I say is I will remind you of this conversation, and that you will probably take exception to the voting if we lose. Am I wrong in that assumption? A simple yes or no will suffice.

Respect your opinion. However, I vote for those whom historically do less damage to my wallet. Hint:it,s never been Dems. The platform of continually creating programs which we have no choice in paying for I.E. Illegals. Sanctuary Cities . Hand outs for Generations of the Terminal lazy,s, and the list goes on. Government from cradle to Grave is not the answer. But i guess if they enhance their voter base through these things..all is fair. Each and every time a Law that is enacted that restricts my right,s although I have followed the Law and takes away our rights and restricts me further has ALWAYS been bourne by a Democrat. If you are a Firearms owner then you have a slight disconnect with reality. My next question would be why are you here on this forum? To Churn?
This is a firearm forum, not a Republican Conservative Political forum. Diverse opinions should be what we look for, not listening to ourselves over and over. I have voted Conservative Republican my entire life, including Trump twice (yeck!) That is because the liberal platform was worse. I don't disagree with many of your statements, but I do think we as "adults" should be open to hearing all sides of an argument. Then we can make informed intelligent decisions. Making broad brush assumptions about people, groups etc, is never accurate or valid. IMHO
Thank you for listening. I think everyone's opinion is important.

I'll remind you after the Mid Term elections, of course you will say they are fraudulent, false and Unconstitutional, controlled by the Deep State, etc, not because people and society are changing. IMHO

You seem to have selective memory. Please reread your post.

I will agree that young people have changed. Yes, they are lazy and unmotivated. Yes, they have a high sense of entitlement. Yes, they believe that the government should take care of them cradle to grave. Yes, they are all in on climate change, both real evidence and designed scare tactics. Yes, they have been royally brain-washed and screwed over by both the public-school systems and colleges and universities. And yes, they may own firearms, but they are all in on "reasonable gun laws."

All those things lead to voting with the democrats.

The problem with Republicans is they simply do not message well. I don't know who thought it was a good idea to overturn Roe v Wade before the mid-terms, but that was epic stupidity. Also, if they keep going on TV talking about investigations and the revenge tour if they win Congress back, they can forget it. They need to hammer away at the state of the economy, inflation, crime, and an out-of-control border. Some are, but many aren't.

The country wants things fixed. Not more wasted time on political head-hunting.

I don't believe the polls, but I don't think we are going to see a red wave either. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the Republicans blow it by finding a way to lose.

Yes, this is a Muzzle loading Forum. However it,s a fact that many restrictions past and present are the spawn of Liberal Democrats. I like many others whom lived in Democratic controlled States witnessed the slow decay of Rights and further restrictions.....all the while having no effect on their criminal voter base. You may not like what im saying....sometimes the truth hurts.

Well said.

I think you have it down fairly well!

Snake Pleskin...a Fictional Character from "escape from NY and Escape from LA" Movies. Kinda Ironic that,s what,s happening in Reality. I wonder why?
I have lived and worked in both NYC and LA. While it is great when you are younger and have a good job. The glitter and glamour wears off after awhile and its time to go elsewhere. IMHO

And one final thought. Right or wrong, deserved or not young people agree with and want student loan debt forgiveness. Republicans do themselves no favors by declaring they will now tax that forgiveness.

You can't gripe about 65,000 new IRS agents to squeeze the little guy while making stupid comments about taxing loan forgiveness. Again, finding a way to lose.

Loan Forgiveness? Nothing but slicing up The Shickhouse for the next Election.....Loan Forgiveness in my time was when it was payed off. For those not familiar...."Shickhouse" a brand of baloney.

It is amazing the grief I get for saying that "we" those on the "right" are our own worse enemies! I agree with your sentiments, it's like we try and find ways to lose!!:dunno:

I had to worked my entire time in school, to avoid loans. No social life etc. Just school & work. Today we live in a different world. people walk out on mortgages, credit card debt, school loans, etc They have no honor or self respect. IMHO

I agree 100% But, the democrats look like saviors while making Republicans look like villains who only care about corporate America and the wealthy. Again, they don't message well.

People do not seem to get it. There are many more poor people than rich people. A rich person gets one vote, a poor person gets one vote. The Demorats figured that out long ago!
