Laugh all you want, but it works. Rest is velcroed to the jack so it is removable at any time. No wobble on mine

YEAH WOW it was right there all the time. Heavy, so a little recoil isn't going to topple it. Height adjustable...they just poured a lovely concrete deck at my local range..., they didn't raise the bench height so NOW relative to the deck where the seats are placed, the benches are now 4" shorter. Useful for other stuff (I have these aluminum siding pieces on my home's external chimney, and they slide down through the year, and I use a 2x4 and a jack to push them back up into place.) as well as for the car.
