I started a thread on this on in the “Identification” forum, and it looks like parts of this gun could possibly be original, with some parts definitely not so. I don’t want to guarantee what anything is or isn’t. What I can say is this gun is really cool! .58 caliber with a spotless rifled bore. The lock is strong, wood looks great (with a few dents and dings to add character).

I invite perspective buyers to read the ID thread to see some of the wisdom and opinions of other members about this gun. I’m by no means an expert on old Springfields, and I do not want to represent this gun as something it isn’t. It is priced accordingly. Reduced to $550 + $50 shipping.
