SOLD REDUCED Very Fine Tennessee Style Flintlock .45 Rifle

Elegant .45 Flintlock Tennessee pattern long rifle. It has a 42" deeply browned octagon barrel. It is straight, measuring .880 across flats. Barrel has some spotting to finish, likely due to uneven application or a foreign substance getting on surface during browning. Not heinous. Blade front sight and artistic rear fixed sight. Double set triggers. Bore is Excellent. Very nice tiger striped Maple stock with some nice relief carving at butt , lock and tang. The brass furniture has nice engraving without going overboard. The initials CCB are engraved on toeplate. LOP is 14 3/8". Weighs about 8.5 lbs and balances well. Shows little sign of much use. $1475 + Shipping.
