Description Update Based on its weight (9.5 lbs) and forestock profile (wide and flatish), this would seem to have been built as a Chuck Gun. This vintage Custom rifle appears to be 60s or 70s, possibly earlier or later. No real tells. The wide grooves in the 36.5" barrel mic around .385. The barrel tapers from .945 at breech to .930 at muzzle. Sights are adjustable rear buckhorn and hooded bead front. Walnut stock with no cheekpiece. Brass patch box with round steel door. Copper side plate. LOP is 14 7/8". $375+Shipping.

I suspect a .375 Patched round ball would be just the ticket. A nice partner to a .36 cap and ball revolver.
