If you you ordered them online you can pick them up at the store instead of shipping them you save the hazmat fee and shipping.

This so strange to me. I was in Bass Pro's main store in Springfield. They had no percussion caps of any size nor brand. They said they have not had the 1st tin in 3 years !

I ordered 3 tins to be shipped to the store at the beginning of June. One was ready for pickup immediately and the other two I had to wait for arrival. Finally the other two arrived and I went to pick them up. Went to look at black powder supplies and they had at least 20 more tins for sale! I grabbed three more while there. I asked how long they had them and the lady said they have had them in stock for a couple weeks! I told her I ordered 3 tins and had to wait a couple weeks for my order and asked why that is. She said they cannot take the tins from that order to complete my order because it came from a separate order! I said ok whatever, at least I got some! Usually I make my own, but it’s nice to have a few hundred more factory caps for backup.

I have a caps question? Are CCI caps any good VS Remington caps? If so, I know a small Mom& Pop store here in Indiana that has quite a few both #10 and #11. If interested let me know I can give out thier phone.

Most cap and ball revolvers are happiest with 10’s. 11’s fit most rifles. Remington caps are my favorite for revolvers.

Thanks! Actually have 6 cap n ball revolvers that have never been fired, and one that I loaded with blanks and fired 6 rounds on New Years Eve, Might have to get me some of those #10's.
