Camp & Trail Gear. What does this have to do with muzzle loaders and black powder?
You don't do any reenacting, I take it. The brazier is pretty much a copy of what was used in the 1700's. George Washington had a similar one for when he was "on the road".What does this have to do with muzzle loaders and black powder?
If he can't find it there it's available online. If there is an old time hardware available to you, ask for "stove black" (its made for old cast iron stoves & is not a paint).
I'd simply do as appalichian hunter said above.Hey Fellows....My brazier is looking pretty rusty. Anybody have any ideas about how to make it look black the way it did with its original finish? Any suggestions for refinishing it?
