Guys,

I know I stumbled across where the best place is to get replacement ramrods, but I can't find it for the life of me. ::

I bought one of the Pedersoli Frontier .32 longrifles a few years ago and am wanting to get a replacment ramrod, as my first replacement wasn't very good quality. It is the Pedersoli Frontier .32 longrifle.

Where is the best place to get one for hunting? I have seen several places offer them, but wanted to check with y'all to make sure.

I appreciate your help!

If you want a hunting ramrod (not reenacting)TOW carries a black flexible composition rod that works great for a .32...you may have to "shave" it a little to fit your thimbles/ramrod hole. It is unbreakable.

You can get a solid brass one from October Country. They look good and don't break. Measure carefully and they'll make it the length you want amd thread it on both ends.

You can usually find Ramin and sometimes Hickory rods in hardware and hardwood stores. Places like Home Depot carry some and can probably get Hickory, depending on where you live. I pick my own ramin rods from the bin. That way I always get perfect rods, better than run of the mill Hickory, but inferior to good hickory.
: Track sells both. They also sell various & different rod tips. Click on the link beow.

The cheapest place I found was www.cainsoutdoor.com they used to be mountain state muzzlelaoding. They will cut to length and put any end you want on it. I just got synthetic one for my .32 it was 28" with a 8-32 steel end and shipping and all it ran around $15.00 give or take.

cains made me a nice brass rod for my 50 frontier. Called and discussed the measurements and the made it to fit. Great ramrod.
