I have a .54 Lyman Trade Rifle and am thinking of installing the adjustable rear sight that came with the gun. I seems to shoot a little low.
Are there any tips on installing the sight?
Thanks, Flint50

To raise the POI with a "fixed" rear sight, simply take a few swipes off the top of the front sight with a file.

File a little, then shoot a "group" to see if more file'n is needed.

In my case, using the adjustible rear sight still requires filing the front sight to raise POI.
