I was looking at TVM's early Virginia rifles and they now offer a brass domed "early" VA patchbox or a sliding wooden one. Which would be more correct on a VA rifle circa 1775-80? I have spoken to Glen Jones and we agree that all furniture should be brass but I have not researched the patchbox angle as yet.

Just pick a brass patchbox design that was actually USED in Virginia!! :winking: A gun that is supposed to be from Virginia wouldn't have a Lehigh patchbox! (something I see a LOT of....)
