just where did the JACK come from in JACK KNIFE?I used to make early period slip joint knives. The second one down is all steel, documented to Revolutionary War period. The top one is the first I ever made, learning the ins and outs. .

well how did Jacque make them different than the friction folder that has been around since Christ was a Corporal?
