My boy would like to make a revolver reloading stand in shop class. Teacher says no problem , but would like him to work off of a set of plans. So does anyone out there have a set of plans we could use? :hmm: Thank You :) PS we shoot a Ruger Old Army.

Don't have any plans for one - but here is a picture of one I put together a few years ago that has served me well.

It is adjustible in height and at the grip, works with everything from this very large flintlock pistol - 22 1/2" long, to my 1858 Remington.

I may be able to help your son. In "The Backwoodsman Magazine" Volume 27 #4 July/August 2006 issue there is some very basic plans on how to make two folding style stands. I might be able to copy the article into an electronic format and send it to you via email. Or you could go to www.backwoodsmanmag.com and order the back issue. You may want to take a look at this first to see if it passes as plans. Let me nkow via post or email if I can help.
