I have to agree with Thunder14. How come Grafs' can do it and Dixie cannot/will not.

Guess Dixie can, they just do not want or need the business, especially when they are running 30 days behind in shipping.

Guess it's not ridiculous in this case, it's lkejroinrnm, being polite.

The Log Cabin has earned by business.

thats why i can make my own if need be ive got the tool and punch to make them and 10s of thousands roll caps. they do work and work well with real black

About shipping; I needed a sear spring for a TC percussion lock, this spring is a small coil about the size of the spring in a ball point pen but only 1/4" long. One of the well established M/L suppliers had some in stock in their on line catalog. I hit add to my cart when I saw the one I wanted, seems like it was 4 or 5 dollars, pretty high but my gun was useless without one. When I got to the checkout phase of the order I was shocked to see that they wanted $13 to ship this tiny spring.

I went looking somewhere else and found one on eBay for $7 shipped free.

The thing about price gouging for shipping is it may put a few extra bucks in the owners pocket but for everyone who pays the outrageous fees, 10 people will see the owners greed and vow never to do business with said company again for any reason.

Shipping fees is a tough one. What does it cost for a person to pack and ship a product? I have a bunch of stuff that I should sale, however I dont want to mess around with packing it and shipping it when it sells.

It is all about time and money.

There is a solution QUIT giving into the thieving corporations and venders the all screw us over with the shipping prices and fake hazmat charges its amazing how Graffs can only charge the minimum for hazmat shipping but the rest of the crooks charge for every item and with other venders charging $8 and up for shipping a 1/8 inch screw or spring that could be mailed in a envelope,so keep feeding these crooks and they will keep doing it to everyone. There are enough of us to help out each other and stop the crooks from screwing us over.
I got items free shipping from China

Luckily last times things were tight< I found musket caps on the back shelf of a small shop. If I bought 5,000, I could have them for $20/1000. Bought a couple of conversion nipples and can use them on my caplock rifles. Revolvers still need #11's but Cal-ag had them 2 years ago and I got plenty at about $3/100. Remember the days when a call to Graff and sons used to get me 5000 at a time...and for not much money.. sadly, I popped them all. Well maybe not sadly, I enjoyed every one...

Stocked up well during the last panic. Found a source of #11 caps right here in Oklahoma, bought thousands of Remington and CCI caps for $2.99 per tin.

Here I thought I was getting ripped when I paid $7.50 a tin for cci caps. I still bought all they had.

I ordered one, I figure it can't hurt.

I ordered one as well as some priming compound.

I'm not a soda drinker. So how do I ask for empty soda cans without alerting my black-powder buddies to what I'm doing?

They may expect me to give them a few caps or ask to borrow the capper and not give it back.

Aluminum cans seem to grow on the side of the road around here.
