Don't know if this qualifies but we have used our Parker-Hale 3-Band Enfield with excellent results on Moose and Caribou.

I have taken deer with two originals. In my 1863 Springfield I use 60 gr of Goex 2f behind a 460 gr minie. Shot thru a buck at 60 yards. In my '41
Mississippi I use a patched .570 ball over 90 gr of 2f. Same results

My '63 is sighted to hit a couple of inches high at 50 yards. Most muskets of that era will shoot
very high at that yardage with issue sights and the windage may be off as well. The best way to handle it is to solder a higher blade to the existing front sight that can be filed down. Bring a mini torch to the range so you can move the sight blade for windage if necessary.
