Lone this ain't a critiziem at all cause it may be the quality of the picture. Ya mite want to spend a bit more time on the final finish on the blades it sorta looks like ya can see a couple small tool marks or file marks(can't really tell from the photo)ya didn't get fully out. course again ya may have left them on purpose. Yer sure maken a good looken knife. Like Swampy said , looks like yer getten into this knife thing ain't ya. HUGE difference in quality of yer work from back when ya started, stick with it, yer getten good. Just some thoughts YMHS Birdman

Birdman, If you are talking about the shiny spot in front of the slabs, Yea I took care of that, noticed it after the picture was taken. Got into it a little while sanding the slabs. If you mean the two specks right at the spine in front of the slabs. Decarb! Thought it would be best not to try to mess with that due to location. Other than that sittin here looking at it and cant see anything. Thanks for the kind words and the heads up. :v

I Really like that! [can I have it?] .........HaHaha
Macon......

Yep! ... I saw all of those imperfections right off! :nono: .... Your picnic table needs those cracks filled! Don't they have paint or Thompson's Waterseal in Florida? .. and get something done about that mold! :barf:

OH! .. The knife! I think a few tiny dings and who-do's add to the beauty of a hand made knife and you must be staying up all night to crank all these sticker Masterpiece's out James!

Beautiful knife. Can you tell me the proper way to engrave the edge the the knife blade. Are you using a hand file, dremel?

Thank you!
It is two simple file cuts, A half round and a tri corner.
Stagger the half round cuts then fill in with a straight cut on an angle with the tri corner file. :v

Spiffy blade, Lone.......we wuz jes' sitting around, picking flyspecks from our pepper shakers...tehn we decided to pick on yew

Again....NICE knife....tough to beat the appearance of bone and the performance of A2.

WoW that is AWSOME!! I REALLY LIKE THE LOOK OF THE BLADE!! YOU GOT SERIOUS TALENT!!

Thanks for the reply. I'm going to work on a cheap stainless steel blade with some nephews. Will this also work for stainless?
