This gun was used some years back for our annual kids day at Birchwood shooting park Alaska.
We usually have right at 400 kids show up and let them go from station to station all day long learning to load and shoot all manor of firearms.
The muzzle loaders are always popular with the kids and well attended as we show them how to load and then let them each shoot. They seem to get the biggest kick out of all the smoke and boom instead of the crack of smokeless shooting.Usually we would give them a little history lesson as well on when, where and how the arm they will be shooting was used.MD
