Sure hope someone here can help me out, I am needing a Ruger "Old Army" hammer. The pistol is stainless steel but one from a blued pistol will work. If you have one in a parts drawer please let me know.

Thank you, have checked all traditional parts suppliers so needing to find someone who might have an old clunker that is ready to part out or maybe just has a few parts in a box. These are such fine pistols it is a shame that many will start going away because no parts are available to keep them running.Check with Dixie Gun Works or The Log Cabin Shop in Lodi, Ohio.
There is a place in Florida I think the name might be VTI they handle vintage black powder gun parts. That’ll go for stupid money… seriously… somehow I ended up with a few extra cylinders, last time I saw cylinders only they sold for over 400.00. They don’t make them anymore.Hope this helps

There is an enterprising fellow down in Texas who’s in the process of manufacturing among other goodies, Old Army Bisley and Super Blackhawk styled hammer’s and triggers which fit the New Model grip frames… it’s been a very long wait but it looks like we’re getting close. When they come off the line it will open up some interesting options for fans.
He’s not taking orders at this point, some of us bought in on a group buy when he first began the project and have been waiting patientlyish since then. There are rumors that he’ll be manufacturing five shot cylinders and blanks at some point for various revolvers and Old Army’s might be part of the mix. That prospect makes my stony old heart go pitter pat!!
