Howdy folks: Two Feathers here.
Here is a nice little partial tang hunting/patch knife. Jump on this one. It’s your chance to own a hand crafted Two Feathers knife.
This one sells for $75.00 shipped, USD. This knife will make you stand out at your next rendezvous, Mountain Man encampment, or BP shoot. I’ve stated my motto before, “If you’re gonna’ play the part, then look the part.”
The blade is 3-7/8” long, 1” wide and 3/32” thick. The blade is crafted from 1095 High Carbon steel. This knife is Straight Razor sharp! I shaved with it.
The overall length is 7-1/2” The knife has a 1/16” Brass Quillon, or plate, between the blade and the handle. It’s more to hide the open end of the antler than anything else.
The Brass Quillon is soldered on. The handle is made from a sun bleached Mule deer shed tip. The shed had been laying in the woods for months, and a porcupine; or some other rodent, chewed on it, giving it an irregular tip. It looks like the tusk from some prehistoric Sabre toothed Tiger. I can cut it off if the customer would like? Just let me know if you do buy it, and I’ll do that before I ship it and then I’ll reshape the tip. I (personally) think it looks great like this, but your call.
The antler tip is held on by (2) 1/8” Iron pins. The shed has Blackened from polishing it which gives it a very OLD, glossy, and rustic appearance.
The sheath is made from 3 oz. Veg tanned tooling cowhide and is signed. It has a rawhide strip wrapped around the center and stitched to the cowhide. The upper half of the stitching (above the rawhide strip) is artificial sinew in an X pattern. Below the strip it’s stitched with Brown linen thread. All stitching is hand done. There’s a folded belt loop on the back of the sheath that will accept a 2-1/4” wide belt. There is also a scalp lock dangling from the tip of the sheath that has a Coyote tooth, Brass bead, and a Brass cone with scalp hair( Horse tail hair, of course) for that added 1700’s Fur trapper look.
I take PayPal; friends and family, Money Orders, and personal checks, but checks will add 2 weeks for clearance.
I Sell/ship to Canada, but all prices are in USD’s.
I ship same day as funds are received. The exceptions are Federal holidays, Sundays, Sever weather and PO hours.
As always, Thanks for looking. If you'd like more pictures, just let me know in a PM and I'll shoot more and send them to you.
If interested, you can PM me here, or email me at: [email protected]
God bless:
