.50 Hawken percussion new in late 70's ser# 163,xxxDoes someone have a serial # dateing table for Thompson Center Renegades and Hawkens?
Does one even exist?
That case-hardened trigger guard is nice. Yeah, it's worth 'something'I have an early .50 cal T/C Hawken 4 digit SN 112x. Purchased in 2013. Trigger guard is steel. Butt plate is brass.
Is it worth anything?
Interesting…looks like someone put a Renegade steel trigger guard on it (instead of the regular brass one). I like the case-hardened coloring.I have an early .50 cal T/C Hawken 4 digit SN 112x. Purchased in 2013. Trigger guard is steel. Butt plate is brass.

Oh, wow! Learn something new everyday Thanks, bubba! The case-colored triggerguards were only on first year production Hawkens. There were only between 4 or 5 thousand of them.

Where's the ser.no.at on the 50 black diamond? I don't think I have any.Does someone have a serial # dateing table for Thompson Center Renegades and Hawkens?

I am not familiar with that inline, but I would hazard a guess the serial number is on the side of the barrel or action somewhere. You might try the www.modernmuzzleloader.com sister site. There are more people with inlines on there.Where's the ser.no.at on the 50 black diamond? I don't think I have any.
Prettiest 'Gade I've ever seen! For whatever it's worth, my .50 Renegade kit from 85 or 86 is K30XXX. Who knows how long it sat on a shelf before I got it.View attachment 164617

Beautiful Renegade! Beautiful browning on the barrel. My T/C Hawken kit from 1981 has a browned barrel as well (not built by me, but certainly appreciated by me ) That striping is first rate! Is it painted? I love the overall color and appearance! Two thumbs up from me! ‘PoetFor whatever it's worth, my .50 Renegade kit from 85 or 86 is K30XXX.
