I think part of the issue is that different models had different ranges, and I think different ranges depending on caliber within those models. And then you throw in kits, which are an additional range ( and different by model and caliber), etc.

It is plum cornfusing! 🤨
 
I have an early .50 cal T/C Hawken 4 digit SN 112x. Purchased in 2013. Trigger guard is steel. Butt plate is brass.
Is it worth anything?

For whatever it's worth, my .50 Renegade kit from 85 or 86 is K30XXX. Who knows how long it sat on a shelf before I got it.View attachment 164617
Beautiful Renegade! Beautiful browning on the barrel. My T/C Hawken kit from 1981 has a browned barrel as well (not built by me, but certainly appreciated by me 😎) That striping is first rate! Is it painted? I love the overall color and appearance! Two thumbs up from me! ‘Poet
