Anyone use a ladder sight?

I have one that came on my Sharps, but with my aging eyes it's hard enough to shoot at over 50 yards with completely open sights much less ranges exceeding 100 yards. So, no. Don't use one on muzzleloaders, but if my eyes were great and I was in long range competitions, it might be a good choice.
