Thanks Scalper. I have some decent flints around here from another rifle. I also may try snapping some flints from the local agate. I live in the part of Kansas known as the Flinthills and so it is plentiful just out my back door so to speak. It would be fun to shoot it with native flint. I still need to pick up some balls for it. No one locally carries .350 or .355. I may just order a mold and be set.
 
I was at the range this weekend and took the 36 along. Unfortunately I forgot the .350 RB's that I had ordered. Not wanting to pass an opportunity to at least fire it I used some .310 RB's that I had along for my 32. I double patched them with 10 grains of 3f BP. I fired the rifle three times at 25 yards and it functioned perfectly except accuracy was very poor. It has the original factory milled flint, but still shot fine. I used about half a pan of 3f to touch it off. I can't wait to work up a load for it.
