Well boys, I had an interestin day, It started last night, all my POI on my targets are roamin round the target a lil, I do get the old proverbial 3 shots in the center, but none consecutively , So last night I got to thinkin, and I found out why, and how to fix it,, ( we'll get to that part in a sec.) First off, I just fired 34 shots thru Drop-em, ( that's the name of my weapon, My Lady likes the name but say's it not a female, Well boys, I am goin on 58 and have been a bachelor my whole life, and if I say it's a female, well you know the rest ot THAT story,, I am the man of this habitat and there ain't no woman tellin me what to do.. Any way she like the name of him,,,,,)

This is with no cleanin,, Just lock, stock, cock and fire, 34 times, I been tryin different loads and it seam's like it now wants 60 grns, It still has more kick then my winchester 30/30 so I will try it for huntin, I did move the sight one click to the right, it was just to darn hot to try it out,,

Now, this is what I figured out last night and set it up and tried it this mornin,
This is only for the people that want to know how I got Drop-em to shot the same all the time,, No one else need's to look,,, I don't want every one to know my secret,,

Hobbles-
Nice name for a rifle! I half-jokingly stated I was going to name one of mine "Deerdropper", and "The Commodore" just rolled her eyes (started calling her that after I read Stumpy's name for his wife "The Admiral" :haha:) Stumpy, you don't actually refer to her as "The Admiral" when you are speaking to her, do you? :shocking: DOH! :curse: I always learn the hard way!
That strategically placed brass bead on your rifle is similair to a "kisser button" on a bow string. Nice shootin'Hobbles!

I used to work with an old guy that was retired from the Navy that referred to his wife, even in front of her, as "The War Department".

My wife is affectionately called "THE WARDEN" and not just by me. Years ago she was manager over a bunch a women and they all called her "The Warden".

You got the one in the center, the rest are still commin up from the far downs behind that one, Two days now I was out at patch hill shootin and after I was there for a hour SHOOTIN I look down and seen ,, the first time a big tom, and it was out in the open and never ran when I fired, BUT, as soon as I moved to reload, it went back in the woods, It happened again with 3 or 4 hens, same thing,
it's 5:56 am and one deer is back again,,
