Whose fault is it that you don’t have a printer in 2023?
I had a printer, an el cheapo. It freaked out on me during the Covid hysteria, so I went to Wally's to get another one. They were sold out completely because of the school closings, and they stayed sold out until I forgot about copiers. I still don't have one.

Take a screenshot of the document and take it with you too the post office..

If the attendant doesn’t understand, ask too speak too the Postmaster..
That solves any issues 👍
He will just support the clerk. They are both bureaucrats with closed minds. No matter what they do they will get a day closer to retirement without consequence. I have shipped and received many ml guns and a C&B revolver from home using Click and Ship with no issues. I'll qualify that statement: one rifle was damaged in shipment due to rough handling. It may be impossible to pack securely enough to guarantee that won't happen.

Oh!
Well Excuse me Mr. Post Master, should I contact the Office of the Inspector General and inform him of your failure too follow the rules allowed by the USPS..

Always keep a card in the hole…
I haven’t had too play this card yet… But I would.👍

Usually just the mention of the OIG gets their attention..

If the post master still refuses… make the call!
Tell them you have a complaint about Two postal service workers refusing too comply with official rules.

I made a lot of overtime when I was working on government facilities…
One mention of an OIG visit and start 7-10’s immediately!
Painting 3 sides of the columns, 1 side of the doors and freshen up anything else along their intended tour route…🤣

Nobody wants the OIG upset…. 👍

I loved playing hide & seek for two grand a week..😁😎

The person behind the counter does not ask you what's in the box. t
They actually if they ask if the box contains certain items.
We get asked what's in the box everytime when shipping anything.
Get online go to UPS print yourself out of shipping label & pay for it. Pack your stuff up.
Do this all the time, no questions and its cheaper by doing it yourself. No questions just drop the package off, done deal ...

I got tired of the ink drying out and needing an expensive replacement. Now I load anything I want printed on a thumb drive, and have it done at Staples. Even considering gas, its cheaper than the ink, no more than most of us print. If I print things at the library, first ten pages are free!

What part about NO handguns, even pre 1898 ones, and muzzle loaders, do you guys not understand?. Now, you can be careful, pack carefully, and 99 times out of 100 no one will be the wiser…… and if it is caught, you will probably just get a stern talking to. For now…..and if gruesome newsome somehow gets elected… you may be arrested and labeled a gun smuggler and lord knows WHAT else. And lose all your rights over a $300 cap and ball pistol! With any luck these folks over 80 years of age should hang it up.

I don't know about the rest of the forum, but I appreciate you doing all you can to help the Left do all they can to curb our Second Amendment rights.

Without supporters like you, they wouldn't stand a chance.

And it’s guys like you who the anti gunners are counting on to break postal regulations and brag about it. Giving them more “ reason” to further push anti gun legislation. The left is counting on people like you to be defiant in a manner to bolster their arguments. Don’t fall for it, contact your representatives you elected to examine and change this.

The guy in the post office to call is Michael Crowell, 1-877-627-0007. This was posted on this thread earlier. Let’s ALL call this person, and politely tell him this new policy is a load of BS. If everyone on this forum calls and jams this guy up, it may change it. Doubtful, but worth a go.

We've got a better shot of convincing a socialist bureaucrat to burn down his own house, with his wife and children in it, than to convince him to make decisions that will benefit gun owners.

He’ll, I’m still using my Samsung laser printer I bought from a friend for $50 in 2009. I have a nice hp inkjet, but haven’t bought cartridges in years

laser. It takes me a couple of years to use a toner bar and those are cheap. For color, yeah, I do staples too

I have a laser printer too. It only does black but works for most of what we need such as printing documents and recipes. 😊

It doesn’t dry out like inkjets if you don’t use it regularly. I think we paid about $100 for it several years ago.

I wish you'd stop with this snide stuff.

All people are doing is telling others what the current US Postal Regulations are so you don't run afoul of them and potentially put yourself out of hundreds of dollars from a denied insurance claim.

It's not our fault that the US Postal Regulations are what they are. Nobody here likes them and we all wish we could ship any gun to anyone through the mail like you could prior to 1968.

What do you expect people to do? Pretend like the regulations aren't what they are? Is that going to help us preserve our Second Amendment Rights?

Michael is not a policy maker. He is just the person that I contacted who did the research and asked around to confirm that in fact you cannot ship any handguns through the USPS except for certain license holders and certain government employees.

Calling Michael will not cause any change. If you want change, you need to contact your elected Federal officials in the House and Senate.

Edit to add, the US Postal Service is controlled by the Postal Regulatory Commission, whose members are appointed by the President and are confirmed by the Senate.
