I think I posted in a different range box post that I like the 30 caliber metal ammo can. Everything for a days shooting except the range rod fits into it. I either put the contents on a range bench or the tailgate of my truck. Easy peasy.

I may have screwed up yesterday. I passed on a nice Remington shooter box for $48.95 at an antique store. I may return for it but i bet it will gone. DUH HUH. Dumbass.

My SIL got the walnut from a friend who thickness planned is down to 3/8". This is my design with all hand cut dovetails. I have a table saw and router, but never did dovetails that way, dunno even how.
Had to make two though, one for the SIL too. (LOL)

Thank you! The key for an old man like me (75 years) is to use an optivisor for magnification, and a hacksaw or backsaw, after laying out very fine lines.

I shoot rifle and pistols so this can carry most all I need.
It is most likely overbuilt but it is nice to look at
