Shooting gear storage

Can never have too many storage boxes! Made from local ponderosa pine. My range box is in the middle. Still working on some dividers to help hold things in place.

just love wooden boxes, but they get too heavy for me to lift.
I have to use a fishing tackle box for my range box. I can lift it.

I use a simple approach to carry my gear to the shooting range. After fine tuning and eliminating unnecessary things, I use a .50 calibre G.I. metal ammo can. Only thing that won't fit inside is paper targets.

None of the plastic or army cans are allowed at rendezvous, so wood is the only way to go.

Have used tackle boxes in the past. Never had anyone walk up and say, "that is a nice tackle box".

There is something to say about a nice wood box. Middle box has nice colors.,

Cedar is my favorite, have three of them, all made by a true craftsman.
