I have polished the bores in both of my Pedersoli guns with scotch brite pads. I use gray, and brown while polishing.
Good report on the trade gun.
I like mine, along with my Pedi Brown Bess Carbine.

Dave

Thanks.
I have both guns, too. And find myself questioning if I really need the BB carbine. I need to get after that one and remove that brown coating like I did the Trade. Show it more love, lol.

My goto is gray scotch brite type pads. Whatever I ordered it for, I bought a bulk pack or something. I'm not even sure what grit they are, as depending on the manufacturer what is green/medium for one might be green/coarse for another. But they seem to do the job.

Pedersoli Indian Trade Guns bores measure out to .630"-.635". Keep that in mind.
Bumping up this old thread! ;) That's Right what you said. For shots I use 19 gauge cards and wads into my Trade Musket instead of 20 gauge which have a loose fit. I keep those 20 for my Tulle that is built with a Colerain barrel.
