If you’re referring to my post, my measure pours 60gr 2fg Goex by volume and weight. Again verified by both digital and balance beam scales.

Something isn't right. I just tested my measure set to 60. It drops almost dead on 60 grains of FFg. I then tried #8 shot pulled from a Federal shotgun shell. I get about 370 grains. I even tapped the shot in, and left it heaping as much as I could, and could only get 380-385 grains in there.

Even if pure lead, it should only be 390 to 395 grains. Are you absolutely sure you are not mistaking your 4 for a 3?

I must apologize to all as I was incorrect. I checked back on my information and I quoted for 7/8oz using a 60gr volume measure. 60gr volume measure is NOT one ounce. On my scale it is in fact 379.5gr, or just two pellets under the true 7/8oz load of 382.8gr.
Thank you Megasupermagnum for pointing out the error.
Fyi, a 70gr volume measure will pour out three pellets of #7.5 shot over the true 1oz load. At least on my two scales.
I will humbly blame the error on my chemo addled and aged brain! Lol

Guys I am still working on my little "Bismuth Loading Chart Essay" as my father has spent the last week in the hospital with heart and pneumonia issues. I am driving up to Dixie Gun Works tomorrow. Hopefully I can finish over the weekend and get Zonie to post it in a sticky on the "Smoothbore" thread. We'll see.
