There was an unfinished shoulder mortar on ebay. I was wondering how real and did something like that exist? Went real cheap, but was a bunch of work to do on it.

:v There have been several posts on the MLF re: Flintlock Grenade Launchers. The Rifle Shoppe makes a kit and there has been at least one completed one shown here on the Forum. Doing a search might not help as I believe those posts to be older than 2006. :hatsoff: Here's TRS link to that weapon---Grenade Launcher KIT

Three granade launchers from collection of Museum of Polish Army in Warsaw.
1. Navy granade launcher with wheellock, begining of XVII c.
2. Granade launcher with flintlock, Swiss 1730.
3. Granade launcher with flintlock and long barrel, France 1725.

The original "Bloop Tube " A demonstration of tennis ball lanching at living history could be fun . You could call yourself a Bold Grenadier .
Hey I got it, mount one under a brown bess m203 style . It would work for Rambeau , The Early Years .

If you watch TV for the Verizon "Pirates of the Caribbean" party promo, in the first ten seconds one of the scurvy dogs let's fly with a hand mortar.

Yaargh.

Know the Tzars guys loved the things. The NCOs used the halbert's hook to swing the thing on. Wonder how effective the things really were?

:blah: I wish I had not gotten so cheap on that now. I would like to have that for a toy. :nono: It would be real fun to shoot at those peski red devils... :rotf:
