My Lancaster from Cresson Mountain Muzzleloaders. Terrific workmanship. I have more than twenty ML rifles, but this is one of the best. Polecat

Dale do you know how many hours he put into the build
No, I bought it from the original owner. He has physical problems that prevent his use. This rifle is also featured on their website [Cresson Mnt]. There is some carving in unusual places and in unusual patterns. I love it but haven't shot it yet. Dale Added: The actual builder is J. {Jeffry I think] Hagens. Highuntis Very nice. One of the hardest things to do is the butt plate. Getting the contour line of the heel of the plate in line with the top line comb of the stock. You nailed it. Very clean looking.
 
Surfinator. This is the reason (your rifle) Im glad this thread got started. Very nice, clean looking. Im assuming that is a 58 caliber. I'm jealous.
Yes 58 caliber from Navy arms my brother sent it to me from New Hampshire he goes to amoskeag auction we were able to get it for 2 and 1/4
