I’m looking to buy a 20 or 12 gauge side by side percussion shotgun. I live in MA and muzzleloaders can be shipped to my door. I’ve done it many times. Only modern firearms require a FFL. Please post pics with any offers.

I have an original W. Richards in 12 GA with 36" fine twist barrels proofed in Belgium. Locks will pull through at 1/2 cock. Have not pulled locks to see why. Walnut stock in very good condition without any cracks, chips or repairs. Asking $600 plus shipping. Can forward pics to your email.

I took the locks out of the w. Richard shotgun. I found the 1/2 cock notch on both locks to be a little worn on the leading edge, a little rounded, but still functional. When out of the gun you can't push the hammers off 1/2 cock but when in the gun the triggers do release the hammers from 1/2 cock. Both hammers come back to the same point when on 1/2 or full cock and seem to require the same pull to release. I'm thinking a gunsmith, not me, could adjust this with minimal work. I think re cutting the 1/2 cock notch will solve it.

I have a CVA 12 gauge, I filed off all the cheesy engraving and returned the metal to the white. Was planning on browning it but liked it in the white so much I changed my mind.
It does have a small ding in the stock on the bottom other than that it's fine.
