I finally got my .36 mountain rifle sighted in. H&H Barrel Works barrel. I'm still having sparking issues with this ancient Dixie lock though. The first 4 shot low and I must have filed 1/8" off of the brass front blade. I did one horizontal sight correction and the last 4 are in the middle of the black. This is 50 yards, 35 gr. FFFg Goex, pillow ticking patch, .350 ball. This is the rifle I reshaped the lock area and last month.

Next session I have to move out to 100 yards. I have cataract surgery planned for late Aug/early Sept so I have to do it before or a month later.
 
That settles it, you now know the rifle shoots like it's supposed to. Your shooting (not bad at all) will tighten up as you practice and get to know the rifle. I love my little .36 and it gets a workout fairly often and also my .32.
