went out shooting today my new 45 that i shot last week and it was shooting 6" high at 50 yards. I put a new tall sight on it and it shot about 6" low at 25 yards and maybe 8 at 50. so I filed down the front blade about 2.2mm which should increase impact by 6". this was at 25 yards off hand. about 3" low. but the 4 are almost identical. the other one was the first shot that I had issues with
so I shot it at 50 yards. 3 off hand and three from the bench. 3 off hand were about 4.5" low. the 3 off the bench i use thinner patch 0.10 instead of 0.16 because I ran out. they went down easier but I think the ball was slower. because they were about 8" low.
I'm thinking I probably want it about about 2" high at 25 yards so I'm thinking of taking another 2mm off.
any thoughts?
