Simple inlay question

I would like to do simple dot inlays as shown in the attached photo. The pistol is still in kit form. What would be the best way to accomplish this? Walnut stock so I'd like to use something brighter than copper.

That would be insanely difficult.
Perfect circles are hard to do and when you consider stock shape difficult for something that large.

I have never seen anything like that on original American or English work.

Now......
Shrink those down to no larger than 1/16 dots.....you do see that.
You’ll see the small dots used with silver wire. You’ll also see these dots to decorate checkering.

The “dots” are relatively easy to do.
Basically you take a brass or silver pin and make a tiny tapered nail.
Drill a little pilot hole, tack it in and file flush.

Usually these tiny dots are used as accents for silver wire but a series of these could make something interesting.

The circles you show are much too large.

How is this. Nickel Silver wire in multiple sizes. I like it better and very Suttle
