Looks like the Nock lock from Buck Ridge Flintlocks. It’s a good lock.

Not sure what you mean by resetting the trigger. On my single set trigger you have to pull/push the trigger forward to set it or else it won't function. Have you tried adjusting the pressure screw?

You have to remove the set trigger from the stock to check if it's failing
